About Us

Our Lady of the Assumption & St Meddan is a Roman Catholic Church based in the coastal town of Troon, on the west coast of Scotland.

 Part of the Diocese of Galloway, we serve the town of Troon, including surrounding areas of Barassie, Loans & Dundonald, as well as St Partick's Primary School (https://blogs.glowscotland.org.uk/sa/stpatricksps/) and Queen Margaret Academy. 

Our Parish Priest is Fr Willie Boyd, who joined us from St Mary's in Irvine

  • Service of the Word with Holy Communion -10am  

  • RCIA 7pm in the hall

Wednesday 29th April

  • Praying with Scripture 7pm in the hall

  • Mass 10am

  • Tea / Toast in the hall from 10.30am

Friday 1st May

  • Divine Mercy Prayer Group - 2.30pm for Adoration/3pm prayers. Enter via church side door.  All welcome
