About Us

Our Lady of the Assumption & St Meddan is a Roman Catholic Church based in the coastal town of Troon, on the west coast of Scotland.

 Part of the Diocese of Galloway, we serve the town of Troon, including surrounding areas of Barassie, Loans & Dundonald, as well as St Partick's Primary School (https://blogs.glowscotland.org.uk/sa/stpatricksps/) and Queen Margaret Academy. 

Our Parish Priest is Fr Willie Boyd, who joined us from St Mary's in Irvine

  • St Anne's Guild Summer Outing - Coach leaves 10am from the church

Ascension Thursday - Holy Day of Obligation

  • Mass 9.30 with St Patrick's School

  • Praying with Scripture 10.30am in the hall

  • Mass 7pm

  • Service of the Word with Holy Communion - 10am

  • ​ Vigil Mass 6pm ​

  • Mass 11.15am  - First Communions during Mass
